Two Berliners founded BREAK A LICK
COOPERATION: DJ T-Ina and Pickadelic. Ina
Wudtke a.k.a. DJ T-Ina, who deejays electronic
breakbeat and swing jazz; and Hans Kroier
(Pickadelic), who played jazz piano before he
discovered the sampler. Their enthusiasm for
Swing Jazz gave them the idea to bring swing in
a new form back to where it had come from:
Clubs, Bars, and Ballrooms! Swing is the origin
of the club music that weknow today. BREAK A
LICK COOPERATION were inspired by the joy of
living and the hot dance rhythm of this music.
Pickadelic mixes and triggers bass, drum and
instrument samples live while T-Ina is the swinging
vocal MC and performs additional deejaying.
BREAK ALICK COOPERATION - a new sound
melting together driving basslines and the hot
swing sound of the 30ies. An explosive dance mix
and an imaginary jam session with Billy Holiday,
Fat Boy Slim, the Duke Ellington Orchestra and
Kruder and Dorfmeister: Shake what your mama
gave ya!
